For new moms getting back into sport
Back to sport in small steps.
When and how you start again is something you decide with your doctor or midwife. After that, habmate helps you turn small steps into a habit that doesn’t need a fixed weekday.
habmate has no postpartum recovery or pelvic floor programs and gives no medical recommendations.

The first weeks back
The baby sets the pace.
The first weeks after your midwife gives the okay.
- Week 1
A routine for nap time.
You set up a short routine with the exercises you were recommended. It runs on a timer while the baby sleeps.
- habmate
- Week 3
Twice a week, any days.
Your habit is “move twice a week”. Tuesday and Saturday or Wednesday and Sunday, either works.
- habmate
- Week 6
The first short run.
With the stroller or without: you add distance and time afterward, and habmate Run shows the first bar of the week.

Your apps
What helps you come back.
None of them tells you what your body can do. They keep track of what you’ve planned with your doctor or midwife.
Principle · A missed day doesn’t undo your progress
What you do on good days stays counted.
Mastering counts every green day. When days drop out afterward, after short nights or for whole weeks, none of them disappears.
All principles →Questions
Questions after giving birth.
For anything about your body, your doctor and your midwife are the right people to ask.
Does habmate tell me when I can exercise again?
No. That’s for you and your doctor or midwife to decide. habmate doesn’t replace medical advice and doesn’t make diagnoses.
Is there a postpartum recovery program?
No. You can set up the exercises you were recommended as your own routine with a timer.
What if nothing happens for weeks?
Then nothing happens, and that’s fine. Your Mastering days stay, even if a streak starts over.
For everyone coming back after giving birth, at their own pace.
