How it works
From the link to the first week.
You send a link. Your client decides what you see and can change it at any time.
Become a coach
You turn on the coach role yourself, with your habmate account, a name, a short bio and the coach terms. There’s no approval to wait for. The role opens habmate for coaches, and you only see a client’s data once they share it.
Name · Bio · TermsInvite
You create a link and choose which areas you’d like to see. If you want, you add a personal note. Below it, the link shows how long it stays valid.
Link with permissionsPermission
Your client sees your name, your bio and each permission as a row, with a sentence on what it lets you see. You only get access once they tap “Allow”. If they don’t have an account yet, they create one.
Permission screenClient list
Each client gets their own row, with the areas they’ve shared. When a value is missing, habmate tells you whether it wasn’t shared or nothing happened.
Value · not shared · no activityWrite the week
If your client gives you write access, you plan their training weeks. Your name shows on every week you wrote.
Write training plansoonAssign programs from habmate Gym.
Log
Every look you take and every entry you make lands in your client’s log right away, with the time. From there they can take back any single permission whenever they want.

Permissions
Overview or details, one area at a time.
Each permission is its own row that your client allows and revokes on its own. Details are a separate, clearly labeled permission, and only training has them.

Can take action
Write training planLets you write and change your client’s training weeks. It’s the only permission that writes, and it doesn’t show you what they logged.
Health data
There’s no permission for weight, sleep or HRV today. A detail level for health data isn’t planned, at most a trend.
Your client
Your client sees every look.
Your client doesn’t have to take your word for it. They see for themselves what you look at and what you enter, and can revoke any permission instantly.
Log
Every look and every entry appears under “My Coaches” on your client’s side, with the time. Nothing there gets deleted.
Revoke instantly
Your client revokes any single permission, and it stops working that moment. You see that it has ended.
Weeks become suggestions
If your client takes back write access, your future weeks only show up in their plan as suggestions.
The AI coach steps aside
While you hold write access to the training plan, your client’s AI coach stops drafting plans there that compete with yours.
Limits
You see what your client shares.
Every look at a person goes through their permission. What isn’t covered there, you don’t see, not even worked out from other values.
What you see
- The areas your client has shared, over the last four weeks.
- The weeks you wrote yourself, even without read access.
- That a permission has ended, the moment it ends.
What you never see
- Anyone’s data just because you’re a coach.
- Heart rate, heart rate zones or a single endurance session.
- Individual checkmarks, targets or notes.
- Why a permission was revoked.
The same applies to every coach on habmate, however many clients they have.

Who is habmate for coaches for?
For people who guide others through their training: personal trainers, running coaches and nutritionists. What you can see depends on the permissions that exist today: habits, training, endurance and training plan.
I’m a nutritionist. What do I see?
The habit overview shows you how steady your client’s habits are, and if they choose, their training and endurance too. There’s no permission yet for a food diary, daily target or scans.
Does my client need habmate?
Yes, a habmate account. They open your link, see each permission as a row and then decide. If they don’t have an account yet, they create one when accepting.
Can I assign programs?
Not yet. Today you write training weeks when your client gives you write access. Assigning programs from habmate Gym is coming soon.
Can I message my client in habmate?
No, habmate has no messaging between you and your client. The personal note in your invitation is the only thing you write to them there directly.
