For habits & focus
Keep going, even after a bad day.
Most habits fall apart on the first day something goes wrong. So habmate counts every green day, whether it came in a row or not, and shows how things are going over weeks.
habmate runs on iPhone, Apple Watch and the web once it’s public.
- habmate
Two numbers instead of one
Mastering and Habit Health.
Instead of a single streak that breaks on the first missed day, habmate shows two numbers: how many green days you’ve collected and how the last few weeks went.
Mastering in three levels
At 50, 100 and 365 green days you reach the next level. The days don’t have to be in a row.
Habit Health from 0 to 100
The last 7, 30 and 90 days count for 40, 35 and 25 percent. Only days the habit was due are included.
An arrow for the trend
Next to the score you see whether it’s rising or falling. One bad day barely moves it, a bad week does.
An ordinary day
One day, three quick looks at the app.
A Thursday with four habits, one routine and a full calendar.
- 7:00 AM
The routine runs itself.
You press play on your morning routine. Each step has its own timer, and whatever you finish checks off as you move on.

- 1:30 PM
Water counts in liters.
At lunch you log a liter. The bar of your amount habit grows, and it only counts as done when you hit your goal of 2.5 liters.

- 10:15 PM
One habit stays open today.
Reading didn’t happen. Your daily ring stays open, but your Mastering days stay where they are, and your Habit Health only dips a little.

Routines
A routine that walks you through it.
Several small habits in a row make a routine. Press play and it runs step by step with a timer, so you never have to go looking for the next thing.
One step at a time
The screen only shows the step you’re on. “Done” checks it off and brings up the next one.
On your watch too
On Apple Watch your routines sit next to your daily ring, along with four guided mobility routines.
Keyboard on the web
At your desk you check things off with the keyboard, and ⌘K opens the command palette.
Your app
One app is enough to start.
Everything on this page is in habmate. You can add the other habmate apps later, when something new comes up.
Principle · A missed day doesn’t undo your progress
A missed day doesn’t reset anything.
Your Mastering days stay put, and your Habit Health only dips a little after a missed day.

What’s the difference between a streak and Mastering?
A streak counts due days in a row and knows your schedule. Mastering counts every green day, gaps included, and gives you levels at 50, 100 and 365 days.
When does a habit get a Habit Health score?
After seven days. Before that habmate shows no score, because a number from three days promises more than it knows.
Does every habit have to be daily?
No. A habit can be due on certain weekdays, a number of times per week or every few days. Only the days it was due are counted.
For everyone who wants to keep going without punishing themselves.
