Lift and run in the same week.
If you lift and run, you’re planning two sports against each other. When does leg day go, and when the long run? habmate shows both in one week.

There are two days between leg day and the long run. The week is an example; yours is built around you.
A double day
Lift in the morning, run at night.
A Monday with two sessions and a plan that knows about both.
- 7:15 AM
Upper body from your program.
Day A is waiting in habmate Gym. You log your sets, check them off, and the workout lands in your week.
- Gym
- 5:50 PM
Seven easy kilometers.
Your watch shows the pace range for the planned session. If you go too fast, you see it on your wrist.
- Run
- 8:30 PM
Two checks in one day.
In the overall plan, today’s lift and run are marked done. Legs come on Wednesday, and the long run isn’t until Saturday.

The running side
Every run against its target.
On the running side of your week, each session has a target pace. After the run, a traffic light shows whether you hit it.
Met, partly met, open
Three levels for every session. A run that came up short is marked partly met.
Weekly volume
The week’s bars show how many kilometers you’ve already run, counted in your time zone.
One program in the gym
On the strength side, one active program at most guides your week, so the two plans don’t contradict each other.
Your apps
Two sports, four apps.
Each sport has its own app. The coach and habmate keep them together in one week.
- habmate GymStrength sessions with a program, personal bests and your watch on your wrist.
- habmate RunRuns with weekly volume, target pace and a traffic light for every session.
- CoachDrafts a week with runs and lifting together and pays attention to what goes where.
- habmateShows strength, running and habits as one overall plan.
Principle · The coach suggests, you decide
The week only counts once you accept it.
The coach drafts runs and strength sessions in one week. It never enters anything in your plan itself.
All principles →Questions
Questions from hybrid athletes.
You train differently? Tell us once you’re on the waitlist.
Does the coach plan lifting and running together?
Yes, if you turn it on. It drafts a whole week with both, and you accept it or adjust it.
Does a run count toward my training habit too?
A run checks off endurance habits, a strength workout checks off training habits. You choose what feeds a habit when you set it up.
Will my running volume grow too fast if I lift a lot?
A running plan from the coach grows by ten percent a week at most, no matter what else is in the week.
For everyone who won’t choose between the barbell and the road.
