For the privacy-minded

You decide who sees your data.

Your sleep, weight and training say a lot about you. In habmate you share each area separately, the AI coach only answers after you consent, and it only remembers what you confirm.

Three decisions

The full privacy policy will be published before launch.

Three decisions

habmate asks first.

Three moments where you get asked before anything happens.

  1. First launch

    The coach is off.

The AI coach doesn’t answer until you’ve given consent. If you turn it off later, your conversation, drafts and notes are deleted.

    • Coach
  2. A note

Only remembered once you say yes.

When the coach wants to remember something about you, it suggests a note. The note only stays if you confirm it.

  3. An invitation

Sharing one area at a time.

When a coach invites you, you share each area separately. Every look they take shows up in your log, and you can take back any access instantly.

Principle · Nothing is remembered behind your back

The coach only remembers what you confirm.

And when you turn it off, nothing it remembered is left lying around.

Questions

Questions about your data.

Where and how habmate processes data is set out in the privacy policy, published before launch.

Does a brand get my data?

No. Nothing for brands has shipped. The rule for later is that, with your consent, a brand would at most see whether its app is being used, never your habits or health data.

Does the AI coach run with an outside provider?

Yes, the language model runs with an outside provider. Which one is named in the privacy policy, and nothing is sent there without your consent.

What goes from habmate to Apple Health?

Workouts, runs and food entries you log in habmate. Anything that came from Apple Health is never written back there.
